BCAA Ice Lollies

We’re not ready to say goodbye to summer just yet so we’re keeping up the summer vibes with these amazing BCAA ice lollies. Super simple and you can easily personalise them to suit you! Perfect for after a workout to cool down, help muscle recovery and maintain muscle mass!

So here goes!

Mixed Berry

You will need:
Ice Lolly mould- We love the ones with reusable lolly sticks!
500ml water (You may need to half this, depending on the amount of moulds you have)
2 scoops of Mixed Berry BCAA (You may need to half this, depending on the amount of moulds you have)
3 Strawberries
3 Black berries

  • Mix together 500ml of water and 2 scoops of Mixed Berry BCAA’s in a jug
  • Slice your strawberries and blackberries into slices small enough to fit into your mould
  • Pop a few slices of the fruit into the bottom of each ice lolly mould (not all of them though! We’re going to save those for a moment!)
  • Half fill your ice-lolly moulds with the BCAA mixture
  • Now put the remaining fruit slices into each mould (this should distribute the fruit more evenly)
  • Top up the ice-lolly moulds with more BCAA Mixture, ensuring to leave a gap at the top so it doesn’t overflow when you put the stick in!
  • Put the stick in the top and leave them in the freezer for 4-6 hours (Ideally overnight)
  • Remove from the mould and enjoy!

Little tip: To help get the ice-lollies out, carefully dip the bottom of the tray into some warm water until the lollies come out easily! 
Here’s some other fruit that you could add in: Raspberries and Blueberries, Cranberries and Pomegranate.

Sex on the beach

You will need:
Ice Lolly mould
500ml water
2 scoops of Mixed Berry BCAA
1 Small Orange/ Satsuma
1/4 Mango 

  • Mix together 500ml of water and 2 scoops of Mixed Berry BCAA’s in a jug
  • Chop the mango and orange into very small chunks, small enough to fit into your mould ( you can just pop in the segments of your Satsuma if its small!)
  • Pop a few chunks of the fruit into the bottom of each ice lolly mould (not all of them though! We’re going to save those for a moment!)
  • Half fill your ice-lolly moulds with the BCAA mixture
  • Now put the remaining fruit chunks into each mould (this should distribute the fruit more evenly)
  • Top up the ice-lolly moulds with more BCAA Mixture, ensuring to leave a gap at the top so it doesn’t overflow when you put the stick in!
  • Put the stick in the top and leave them in the freezer for 4-6 hours (Ideally overnight)
  • Remove from the mould and enjoy!

Here’s some other fruit that you could add in: Cranberries, Pineapple, Pomegranate.

If you like more of a creamy ice lolly, pop a handful of fruit (fresh or frozen) into a blender with 2 scoops of BCAA with 250ml water and 2 tablespoons of yoghurt and blend until smooth, then simply pour into your mould and freeze!
